Spanish Beta testing Instructions

As of late September 2025, we have a beta version of ScreenCoach in Spanish; however, this is part one of the language translation.

If you'd like to help us test the Spanish edition, please email us (or use chat), and we can change your account to be Spanish. In the future, once we know it's all working, people will be able to switch the language themselves. You'll need to provide us with your email address.

Beta software is pre-release software. It is not ready for everyone, so if you are happy to try it and give us feedback, that would be great. We would appreciate your help.

Once we switch your account to Spanish, you may need to force stop the ScreenCoach app and run it again to see the new language load; otherwise, as you navigate through the pages, it will slowly start to draw the next screens in Spanish.

The items that your don't' see in Spanish are the values in your copy the database. We will be working on this over the next month; however, you can change these yourself.

The areas you can manually change yourself are:

Activity templates

• This is the list of preset activities that your children can do to earn screen time tokens and/or pocket money gems.
• You can look through the template list and edit the ones you want and overtype the English into Spanish.
• You can delete the ones that you don't want.
• You can access this from the activities tab at the bottom of a parent device.

Bonuses

• Children can get additional bonuses to use positive psychology to reinforce good behaviours and good habits, such as done with a good attitude, done straight away, or done without being asked.
• You can look through the Bonuses list and edit the ones you want and overtype the English into Spanish,
• You can delete the ones that you don't want
• You can access this via the settings tab at the bottom a parent device -> Bonuses

Rewards

• You can use rewards to copy default values into new activities that you create (these may not be used by many parents. It's only because you're going to be creating lots of activities and wanting to organise them a bit better.)
• You can look through the Rewards list and edit the ones you want and overtype the English into Spanish,
• You can delete the ones that you don't want
• You can access this via the settings tab at the bottom a parent device -> Rewards

NOTE: For all of these changes that you can do yourself, they will change it for the whole account so you can't have one child in English and one child in Spanish
