Setting up an Apple Family

Apple Family makes it easy to enable ScreenCoach's features to work correctly.

📱 Set Up Apple Family on iPhone or iPad (iOS 16 or later)

1. Open the Settings app.
2. Tap your name at the top.
3. Tap Family (or Family Sharing), then tap Set Up Your Family.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to:

• • Set up your family group
  • Invite family members to join

💻 Set Up Family on Mac (macOS Ventura or later)

1. Click the Apple menu  > System Settings.
2. Click your name, then click Family (or Family Sharing).
3. Click Set Up Family.
4. Follow the on-screen instructions to:

• • Create your family group
  • Invite others to join

➕ Invite Members to Your Family Group

You can invite others right away during setup, or add members later through Messages, email, or directly on the device.

Tip: You can invite multiple Apple IDs that you own to share purchases across accounts.

On iPhone or iPad:

1. Open the Settings app, then tap Family.
2. Tap Add Member.
3. Choose one of the following:

• • Create an Account for a Child – if your child doesn’t have an Apple ID
  • Invite People – if they already have an Apple ID

4. The invited person can enter their Apple ID password directly on your device to join.
5. Follow the prompts to set up features like Parental Controls, Location Sharing, and more.

On Mac:

1. Go to the Apple menu  > System Settings.
2. Click Family.
3. Click Add Member, then follow the on-screen steps.
