Troubleshooting Location Services for ScreenCoach App (iPhone/iPad)
The ScreenCoach app relies on your device's location services to function properly.
Note: This is a fix when your child's device/user shows as offline on your Parent Dashboard.
If you're having trouble turning it on, follow these steps:
1. Check ScreenCoach App Settings:
- Open the ScreenCoach app.
- Go to Settings in the bottom right
- Go to "App Settings".
- Look for "Locations" - Tap on "Fix it" - allow and set location tracking to "Always" when prompted.
2. Enable Location Services on Your Device:
- If you are not able to enable location services within ScreenCoach, that means location services are disabled entirely on your iPhone/iPad.
- Go to your device's home screen.
- Open the Settings app.
- Look for "Privacy & Security".
- Tap on "Location Services".
- Toggle the switch for "Location Services" to ON.
3. Return to ScreenCoach and Enable Location Tracking:
- Once location services are enabled on your device, go back to the ScreenCoach app.
- Follow step 1 in this guide to enable location tracking specifically for ScreenCoach.
By following these steps, you should be able to get location services working for the ScreenCoach app.
