How to manage notifications on mobile?
Note: The ScreenCoach app needs to be running all the time on children's devices to be able to track the time used, etc. When the child's app is running and it's online, you will not receive any notifications.
You can enable and disable different notifications and change the frequency per user.
- Launch the ScreenCoach application.
- Click on the vertical ellipsis ( ⋮ ) for the child you wish to change the maximum time limit.
- Click on "User Settings."
- Click on the "Notifications" tab.
- Receive notifications when section: The selected user will receive notifications on the device he is logged in to.
- Generate notifications to parents when section: The parents in the family will receive notifications generated from this selected user when, for example, disallowed usage occurs.
Once you are in, you will be able to view all the options for managing the notifications. You can set:
- Notification frequency
- Offline notification delay
- Pause notifications until a specific date and time
- Welcome back message frequency
