How do I stop kids from getting into the parents' account?

Set up an extremely difficult-to-guess PIN.


Do not use address codes, birthdays, etc. We allow setting a PIN between 4 to 6 digits.


To set up a PIN, follow these steps on your (parent) mobile device:



  1. Click on the profile icon to head to the settings page.
  2. Scroll to view the PIN field, and click on the pencil icon to set a PIN.
  3. Additionally, turn on the "Auto-lock app" slider and set an "Auto-lock out timeout" (5-10 minutes is suggested). This will ensure that if ScreenCoach is left unattended by you for the auto lock timeout period, say 5 minutes, then it will auto lock the app so that kids cannot use it.


If ScreenCoach is running on your phone and you have enabled notifications, you will be notified that your child is attempting to guess your PIN after three failed attempts.


If you "suspect" they have been up to no good, you can investigate!
